Release news: The second Life

On September 13, TVC channel aired the premiere of a detective romance show "The Second Life". The 4-series film had a major success, with viewership in Moscow going over 10% (which is more than for programs such as "The Time will Tell", "The Main Stage", and "Accents of the week" on "The First Channel", "Rossiya 1", and NTV respectively), and hit 6% on the federal scale.

Yulia and her pregnant sister Katya witness a cash-in-transit robbery. The bandits kill all the guards in the firefight, but never notice the girls. However, a stray bullet hits Katya, and she dies later in the hospital. Her baby survives, though, and Yulya adopts the girl. One of the bandits later turns out to stand behind the accident in which the wife and the daughter of a Federal Rescue Service captain, Andrey, die. He nearly goes mad, loses his job and draws into his shell. A year later, the wanted leader of the gang is found, and Yulya who recognized him must show up for the trial as the key witness. The leader's accomplices intend to kill Yulya, but Andrey who happened to be there saves her. Since that moment, he begins to help her. With a new goal in his life, Andrey regains his humanism and realizes that Yulya and her little daughter have become his new family.
