The guard of the antique shop on Nikolskaya street fell down the stairs in the shop building and died. A sheet from an ancient manuscript in Greek was found in the hand of the deceased. Nastya Vyazemskaya suspects that the manuscript could have been stored in Libereya, the lost library of Ivan the Terrible. Did the deceased manage to find it? And was his death accidental? Soon it turns out that the guard was poisoned and managed to sell the ancient manuscript shortly before the death. But this manuscript was immediately stolen from the buyer-up! Nastya has to find out who is hunting for the treasures of Libereye - an obsessed fanatic, an alchemist, or an ineradicable gang of “antiquarians”? Whoever they are, these people are ready to kill again and again on their way to the cherished goal...
