Varya is a professional event manager in the agency in Moscow. She is addicted to her job and ignores personal life, believing she was never meant for family. In line of duty Varya goes to her native city Ulyanovsk, where she will have to arrange a big wedding for the daughter of one prominent customer. Varya interviews the candidates for her team and meets her first love - Vlad - among them. Despite the rekindled feelings, the characters can't be together, because Vlad is married. However, the marriage of Vlad and Anya, whom he married without love, has cracked long ago, and after meeting Varya, Vlad decides to divorce his wife. Old lovers reunite, but soon their fragile happiness collapses with the news about Anya's pregnancy. Vlad has to come back to his wife in spite of desire to be with Varya. After parting with Vlad, Varya learns she is pregnant by him, but conceals it in order not to destroy his family. Anya, who has learned about intention of her husband to divorce, is distressed and has miscarriage. Realizing that Vlad has returned to her only because of the child, Anya lies to her husband and pretends she's still pregnant. Vlad prepares to become father, without knowing his wife wears false belly. And that it is Varya who has his real child in the oven...
