Varya is a professional event manager in the agency in Moscow. She has completely devoted herself to work and believes she is not cut out for a family. In line of duty Varya goes to her native city Ulyanovsk, where she will have to arrange a big wedding for the daughter of one prominent customer. Varya interviews the candidates for her team and meets her first love - Vlad - among them. The flared up feelings to Varya push Vlad to the decision to divorce his unloved wife Anya. Old lovers reunite, but soon their fragile happiness collapses with the news about Anya's pregnancy. Vlad has to return to his wife, and Varya lets him go with a heavy heart. But soon she learns she is also pregnant...
